Christmas 2011

We had a very full Christmas this year.  For the first time ever, we would not be traveling away from home for Christmas, Bill's schedule wouldn't allow it.  Instead, his parents were coming to us.  With this being the first Christmas without my mom, I felt a strong need to go home too.  We decided to spend Christmas Eve in Toledo with my family and then be home in time to wake up in our own house Christmas morning.  It worked out perfectly.  My dad had done a really nice job decorating the house and there were still a ton of presents to go around.  Back at our house on Christmas, Audrey got super excited to see the choo choo train that Santa brought her.  Unfortunately, I think our photos from Christmas day are still on our new camera!

About This Blog

Laura began this blog with the intention of someday chronicling our children's lives since our family is spread out from east coast to west. We wanted a way for family to get up-to-date news. Since we had no children at the time, it became a blog that followed our (her) foodie thoughts. Cooking, eating out and drinking wine are huge hobbies of ours so it only seemed fitting. Now that children are here we're going to attempt to meld the two together. You will notice "Foodies" and "Family" links at the top left of the page underneath the header photos. Use these links to focus in on the entries you want to read and bypass the others. We hope you enjoy.
