Hockey Fun

A few weekends ago, Bill's cousin Cy and his son Noah from California were in Detroit because Noah's hockey team was playing in a national tournament.  We loaded up the car and headed over to see him play.  Sadly, they didn't win but we had such a fun trip.  We stayed at my dad's each night in Toledo so we got to visit with him a bit.  We forgot to bring the "bumpers" for Audrey's bed so she fell out of bed for the first time.  :(  We thought we had her secured with rolled up blankets but she managed to roll over them.  She was okay though and didn't even remember falling out come morning.

We spent Saturday in Detroit hanging out with Cy and Noah.  Their team got to watch the Red Wings practice so while they were there, Bill and I got to hang with his old roommate from Chicago.  It was a very full weekend.  Audrey loves Noah so she had so much fun prentending to play hockey and run around with him.  We're looking forward to see them in just a few more months when we're out in California again.

I had to post both versions of this pic just for Audrey's two poses alone.  When Bill saw Vivian in this shirt he said she was "Bad to the bow."  :)

About This Blog

Laura began this blog with the intention of someday chronicling our children's lives since our family is spread out from east coast to west. We wanted a way for family to get up-to-date news. Since we had no children at the time, it became a blog that followed our (her) foodie thoughts. Cooking, eating out and drinking wine are huge hobbies of ours so it only seemed fitting. Now that children are here we're going to attempt to meld the two together. You will notice "Foodies" and "Family" links at the top left of the page underneath the header photos. Use these links to focus in on the entries you want to read and bypass the others. We hope you enjoy.
